Experimental studies report hydration- and barrier-related responses, while a co-delivery nanoemulsion study included clinical barrier measurements. Because those systems contained other actives, the results should not be attributed to Madecassoside alone.
A human UV-tanning study reported lower melanin-index measurements with topical Madecassoside under the study conditions, supporting an even-looking-tone direction without creating a universal depigmentation claim.
A six-month randomized study of 5% Vitamin C plus 0.1% Madecassoside reported improvements in wrinkles, firmness, roughness, and hydration. It supports combination-formula development, not isolated Madecassoside efficacy at the same level.

Published delivery research describes Madecassoside as highly hydrophilic with limited passive membrane or skin permeability. Confirm dissolution, phase placement, vehicle, and any carrier system with the actual formula.
Do not copy a universal pH, temperature, or use level from another grade. Check compatibility with polymers, electrolytes, preservatives, other actives, and the final package, then monitor appearance, pH, viscosity, and active stability.
Studies of Centella extracts or multi-triterpene systems cannot automatically substantiate isolated Madecassoside. Likewise, wound-healing or UV-protection cell studies do not prove scar repair, wound treatment, photoprotection, or sunscreen activity for a cosmetic product.
