Project Route

Choose the Right Development Route

PRIVATE LABEL SKINCARE

Private Label Skincare

Start with a suitable existing Rixin formula, then confirm which formats, ingredients, packaging, artwork, and order details can be adjusted.

CUSTOM FORMULATION AND OEM

Custom Formulation and OEM

Choose this route when you need a new or substantially changed formula, product experience, package, or collection concept. OEM means Rixin manufactures the product for your brand.

Explore Custom Formulation & OEM

A private-label project may need custom development if the requested changes affect how the formula is made, tested, filled, or packaged.

Range Planning

Choose the Collection Size Before Adding SKUs

Start with a routine the customer and channel can explain and replenish.

01

Essential Daily Range

Begin with a cleanser and moisturizer. Add a separately reviewed sunscreen direction when market and regulatory requirements are defined.

02

Performance-Led Range

Combine cleanser, toner or essence, serum, moisturizer, and optional eye care. Give each step a role.

03

Shaving-Focused Range

Coordinate cleanser, shaving format, post-shave format, and moisturizer around glide, rinse, residue, beard-area use, and after-feel.

Product Formats

Choose Formats for Your Men’s Skincare Range

Men's skincare and shaving product formats including cleanser, toner, serum, moisturizer, and post-shave care
01

Facial Cleansers

Review gel, cream, foam, or exfoliating cosmetic cleansers for cleansing level, rinse, after-feel, viscosity, and dispensing. Explore cleansers .

02

Toners and Lightweight Hydration

Toners, essences, and mists require decisions on absorption, tackiness, layering, spray behavior, and packaging.

03

Facial Serums

Explore hydration, skin-conditioning, radiance-focused, oil-control appearance, or age-supporting directions. Define texture, residue, dose, and feasibility. Explore serums .

04

Moisturizers and Eye Care

Lotions, gel creams, creams, balms, and eye gels should match the intended richness, absorption, finish, climate, and package. Explore moisturizers .

05

Shaving and Post-Shave Care

Shave gels, creams, oils, balms, and cosmetic serums require review of glide, rinse, residue, fragrance or alcohol direction, and after-feel.

Facial masks , body care , and hair and scalp care can extend the range.

Target Customer and Sensory Brief

Plan for the Target Customer, Not Gender Alone

Define the target customer, routine size, skin needs, shaving or post-shave use, climate, channel, and daily-use expectations. A gender label alone is not a complete product brief.

Choose the intended texture, richness, absorption, finish, and fragrance direction, then match the packaging to daily use. References can communicate the desired experience, not an identical formula or result.

Branding should support, not replace, a clear product brief.

Use and Packaging Fit

Match Formula, Dose, and Package to Daily Use

The formula, dose, dispenser, and package should work together for daily use, filling, transport, and product stability.

Choose from tubes, pumps, airless bottles, treatment pumps, droppers, jars, and travel formats, then review grip, viscosity, dose, sealing, leakage, compatibility, capacity, decoration, and component minimums.

Requirements, Sampling, and Timing

Prepare for Review, Sampling, and Production Planning

Rixin reviews the checks and documents needed to confirm that the formula, package, and label are suitable for the planned market. Examples may include stability, microbiological assessment, packaging compatibility, dispenser performance, specifications, supporting files, and label or claim review.

Provide:

  • 01Target market, customer, channel, and positioning
  • 02Collection model, formats, and number of SKUs
  • 03Formula status, references, and ingredient direction
  • 04Texture, absorption, finish, fragrance, color, and appearance
  • 05Shaving or beard-area use where relevant
  • 06Packaging, capacity, dispensing, decoration, and quantity per SKU
  • 07Testing, documentation, artwork, and launch requirements

Minimum order quantity (MOQ): from 2,000 units per product. Final arrangements can also depend on formula, raw-material, packaging-component, and printing minimums, size, and variants.

Typical production period: about 40 days after the final formula, packaging, artwork, and order details are confirmed. Formula development, sampling, revisions, approval, international shipping, and customs clearance are outside that period. Materials, packaging, testing, target market, and project scope can affect the full timeline.

Buyer Questions

Men’s Skincare Manufacturing FAQ

Should men’s skincare use different formulas from general skincare?

Not automatically. Base the formula on the target user, skin type, climate, routine, shaving habits, intended use, and sensory expectations.

Can a collection begin with only two or three products?

Yes. A cleanser and moisturizer can form an essential range. Add a serum, shaving product, or separately reviewed sunscreen when it has a clear role.

Can shaving products be developed with the facial range?

Yes. They can share packaging or fragrance direction, but each formula needs separate review for use, stability, testing, and packaging.

What information is needed before sampling?

Provide the market, formats, formula status, references, sensory direction, shaving requirements, packaging, quantity, testing, documentation, and timing.

What happens after I submit a proposal request?

Rixin reviews the available brief to identify a suitable route, feasibility questions, and whether sampling or other project work should be discussed next.
