Resveratrol is a polyphenolic stilbene used in skincare for antioxidant-oriented and well-aging concepts. FDA’s substance record for Resveratrol maps the material to the E/trans form, while COSMILE Europe describes the cosmetic ingredient as 3,4',5-trihydroxy-trans-stilbene and lists antioxidant and skin-protecting functions.
